Working knowledge of building codes and local ordinances

Experience
Estimating/Bidding Job and Material Costs
Project Management
Ability to Read Blueprints / Plans
Facilities Management Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting other Tradesmen
Bidding on projects and jobs
Carpentry / Construction
Fabrication, installation, and repair of:
Cabinetry / Counters
Ceiling tiles
Concrete
Doors
Floor Coverings (carpet, tile, vinyl, wood)
Glass
Partitions
Roofs, Gutters, and Drains
Stairs
Wall coverings
Windows / window coverings
Following and enforcing safety regulations
Gathering bids from outside contractors / vendors Planning and prioritizing jobs & projects
Interpreting college policies and educating workers
Machine and equipment set-up and operation
Meeting deadlines
Researching and selecting products
Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality
Record keeping
Remodels
Supervision and assigning tasks to carpentry tradespersons
Supervision and management of contractors
Other duties as assigned
Compensation
Hourly; $19.48 - $27.37 (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
