Starting Pay: $30.00+ (and up) hourly. Pay dependent on knowledge, skills, and abilities
Shift(s) Available: Day Shift 7:00am-3:00pm
Ability to work any shift, overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision builds, maintains, repairs and installs electrical equipment across a wide range of plant operations.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvement
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions
  • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance duties on plant equipment
  • Diagnoses electrical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as required
  • Experience installing conduit and wiring in an industrial setting.
  • Able to wire motors, motor starters and a variety of other components and troubleshooting same.
  • Experience working with low voltage, 120v, 240, 480v and three phase.
  • General understanding of plcs
  • Able to work safely. Understands how to use a meter to determine proper lock outs.
  • Has worked with gearboxes, belt/chain drives, bearings, seals.
  • Installs new equipment and performs preventative maintenance duties as necessary
  • Possess general computer use knowledge
  • Maintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs, also maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future reference
  • Documents work order time, work performed and parts used by completing time records through use of the Maintenance Management System
  • Conducts regular inspections of tools, safety and production equipment
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of hand and power tools used in the repair and maintenance of plant equipment
  • May perform reasonably similar or related duties as required.
  • Assists in keeping the department in tour ready condition.
  • Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of Industrial or commercial electrical experience and/or two (2) year degree.
  • Must successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirements
  • Basic knowledge of process equipment
Experience:
  • Good regular and prompt attendance history
  • Excellent safety record and awareness
  • Previous plant/process experience
  • Experience in any of the following areas is a preferred:
    • Automation/PLC
    • Low/Medium Voltage
    • Mechanical
    • 480V 3PH wiring, diagnostics, and repair
    • Millwright
    • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
    • Mobile Equipment (forklift or manlift)
    • Rigging
Skills Preferred:
  • Good organizational and communication skills, and must be self-motivated
  • Ability to work well with others and with little supervision (Required)
  • Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and sanitation skills
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills

  • May be called in to work unusual or extended schedules due to equipment breakdowns or similar circumstances
