Analyses will support safe plant operation by determining design bases and limits that meet safety and regulatory criteria for plant, reactor core and fuel design, quantifying thermal margins and identifying and evaluating risks to plant safety and fuel performance.Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments and verify standard evaluations and analyses performed by othersSupport emergent issues and interface with our customer base and other functional groups within Westinghouse to support safe plant operationPlan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirement within schedule and budget requirementsParticipate on project teams and communicate to responsible project managers the nature and status of work projectsIdentify and recommend improvements in process and tools on a continuing basis and assist in implementationWho You Are:As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Nuclear, and/or Mechanical, etc.) or related Discipline preferred or recognized equivalent requiredMinimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferredMinimum 0-3 years of engineering experience requiredAbility to apply fundamental engineering principlesConcise and effective written and verbal skills, ability to learn quickly and display a strong attention to detailEngineer in Training (EIT) Certification is a plusComputer programing skills preferred but not requiredWhy Westinghouse?Westinghouse Electric Company is the global nuclear energy industry's first choice for safe, clean, and efficient energy solutions.
