Structural Engineer

EXPERIENCED STRUCTURAL ENGINEER** Hill-Engineers, Architects,Planners, Inc. has an opening for a full-time experienced structuralengineer (PE) to work at their Dalton, MA office. Hill is a 72 year oldfirm with an average of 40 employees that performs design workthroughout New England and New York. We service industrial, health care,educational, commercial and government clientele on new and existingfacilities. We are small enough and have many long-term employees tomaintain a family atmosphere. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Workcollaboratively with other in-house structural engineers - Mentor youngstructural engineers (EITs) - Work with in-house and outside architectsand engineers - Conduct fieldwork, establish existing conditions,perform calculations and produce designs - Work on projects that arestrictly structural in nature as well as multidiscipline projects -Structural evaluations of existing buildings - Stamp drawings for yourwork and that of others that you direct - Work with draftspersons anddesigners to get designs on paper - Construction administrationactivities such as site visits, submittal review, RFIs, etc.**Qualifications:** - Licensed professional engineer in civil orstructural - 5 years plus of applicable experience - Knowledge ofstructural design software (RISA a plus, working knowledge of AutoCAD,Revit a plus) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to multi-task in a sometimes fast-paced environment - Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word - Authorized towork in the United States **Essential Attributes:** - Gets along wellwith others - Detail oriented, self-directed, responsible - Able to workindependently without guidance or as a part of anengineering/architectural team **Pay and Benefits** Generous andcompetitive salary and benefits plan *Hill is an AffirmativeAction/Equal Opportunity Employer*
