Description

Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Door Installer to join our team. The Door Installer will be responsible for the installation of residential and commercial doors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install exterior doors, including pre-hung, slab, and custom doors for residential and commercial projects.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Perform accurate measurements and necessary modifications to fit doors properly.
  • Secure and align doors, frames, and hardware according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges on-site.
  • Work with other team members, contractors, and customers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and building codes.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in door installation, carpentry, or related construction work preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with door hardware installation, including locks, hinges, and closers.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
