Position OverviewPay: $17/hr (1st Shift) | $18/hr (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st and 2nd Shift Options
Location: Cartersville, GA
As a Truss Builder, you will assemble pre-cut lumber into roof and floor trusses using engineered blueprints, nail guns, and hand/power tools. Your craftsmanship plays a key role in our team’s success.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble roof and floor trusses using jigs and nail guns
Read and follow engineered blueprints
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure quality and precision on all builds
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals
Experience in framing, truss building, or construction (required)
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Operate gantry.
Verify lumber accuracy with sheets.
Verify truss set up is accurate.
Perform daily operator maintenance.
Maintain 100% crew efficiency.
Mark individual trusses when required.
Train Builder Associates.
QualificationsAble to read and write in their primary language.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to read or able to learn to read a set up sheet.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
