Job Description
On site in Frederick, Maryland
Monday- Saturday, (10 hours/day 7am-5:30pm)
Working At Heights/ Lift ticket an asset
Per Diem available for those who live farther from site
Raise Workforce has partnered with a construction project management consulting firm to help them complete electrical work on a protype lumber conveyor system. They are in need of 4-6 Industrial Electricians to support the running of interconnecting pipe and wire between the owner supplied equipment and the power/control systems. The length of the contract is expected to run 5-6 weeks.
Journeypersons, and 3rd and 4th year apprentices are welcome to . Payrates are scaled based on the level of Apprenticeship and certifications.
Skills required
Thorough knowledge of industrial electrical Systems
Competent with wiring electrical AC & DC motors, VFD's process control devices and instruments
Proficient with electrical diagnostic tools (multimeter, megger, etc)
Experience with low voltage systems
Strong electrical piping installation skills
Strong problem solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
Ability to work long shifts (10 hour days)
Other requirements
Certified Journeyman in the US (3rd and 4th year apprentices can be considered)
Industrial Construction Electrician experience: 3 years (preferred)
Commercial Construction an asset
Must have access to a hard hat, safety books and electrician tools.
Electricians must have their own transportation to site
