What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and conduction of onsite field inspections of public improvement construction of streets, water, sewer, sidewalks, and drainage for compliance with local, state, and federal code, regulations, and specifications. Inspecting and policing construction activities within all city rights-of-way and the inspection of certain private improvements.

What You Bring To Us

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of public works construction project experience including some supervisory duties.

OR

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of college/trade school related to drafting, surveying, utility construction, or related technical curriculum.
  • Minimum four (4) years of public works construction project experience with at least two (2) years progressive responsible experience as a construction inspector with a municipality.
  • You anticipate employee needs and relentlessly pursue solutions.
