Field Crew Personnel (Surveying) Location: Statesboro, GA Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In-person Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Field Crew Personnel member to join our team immediately. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and have experience or familiarity with surveying instruments and practices. Responsibilities: Perform fieldwork outdoors on various property boundaries Operate and be familiar with total stations, GPS units, and robotic instruments Accurately document field notes with clear and legible handwriting Maintain precise records and follow documentation protocols Participate in mapping and construction projects with a two- or three-person crew Conduct various types of surveys including boundary traverses, location surveys, level runs, retracement surveys, and staking for subdivisions, buildings, highways, and commercial developments Requirements: Ability to work in various outdoor conditions Physically fit for fieldwork Must pass a drug test Willingness to commute or relocate to Statesboro, GA Reliable and detail-oriented Benefits: Paid time off, including sick and vacation time (after qualifying period) 7 paid holidays Partial health insurance coverage (after qualifying period) 401(k) retirement plan eligibility from the first day of employment Schedule: Monday to Friday No nights or weekends Pay: Based on experience
