Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8 hours per day 6am to 2:30pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch. Ideally available to work 20 to 30 hours per week (Friday through Sunday) as needed to maintain the facility appearance. Key Skill Set: Painting, general light duty construction, Able to work at height 15'-35' on aerial work platform for painting as needed Desirable skill sets but not required - Maintenance Tech, Electrical Wiring (Residential), Electrical Wiring (Commercial), Pipe Fitting, Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic Systems, Fork-Lift Certified, plumbing, groundskeeping, OSHA-15 or OSHA-30 trained, HAZMAT awareness, HAZCOM awareness Desirable traits: Work in a safe conscious manner and in alignment with life saving rules. Work with behavior based safety mindset Work independently with minimal to no direction. Very knowledgeable with regards to painting: Surface prep for walls and floors Indoor and outdoor painting Caulking Spray painting and manual painting for residential or commercial settings Emphasis on concrete painting Experience with epoxy painting Some to moderate experience with light general construction: Framing / wood working Floor laying (tile, carpet, vinyl) Concrete work (sidewalks, curbs, floor repairs) Drop in ceiling work Glazing General construction tools and best practices NFPEA-70E Electrical awareness Lock Out Tag Out for safety Bonus: Previous use as a certified fork lift operator Previous use as a certified scissor lift or boom lift aerial work platform operator Job may also entail site cleanup (picking up and disposing of trash) as well as minor groundskeeping and planting activities when painting work is not available. Job may also be in support of construction or assembly line setup when multiple hands are needed in a light construction assistant method (such as new office remodel or assisting with setting up a production line to move items into position or as the skill set of the person enables them to assist).
