Commercial Painter Lead

General Contractor is seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Painter Team Leader to oversee our interior commercial painting division. The ideal candidate will have strong background in tenant improvement projects and the ability to lead a crew effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a painting crew to achieve daily goals.
Layout projects, order paint and materials, and oversee wall prepping and painting.
Perform painting tasks, including hand and occasional spray applications.
Ensure quality in floor prep, sheet rock patching, taping, T-bar ceiling touch-ups, wood trim putty, door and frame painting, caulking, priming and final painting.
Collaborate with other crews for demolition and additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in tenant improvement painting projects.
Ability to work in both occupied and unoccupied offices and retail spaces.
Must have own hand tools and safely gear.
Clean driving record and drug-free.
Willingness to work night and weekend hours as needed.
Schedule and benefits:
10 hour shifts, swing shift from 2pm-12:30am, typical work days Monday-Thursday with variations to schedule as needed.
1-week paid vacation after 1 year of continuous full time employment.
