Electrical Engineer

Our client is a local firm looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their exceptional, family-like team! They work with some of the best clients in the Syracuse-Auburn area.

Requirement:

• 5-10 years of experience as an electrical engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, light industrial, municipal, education, or recreation (doesn’t need all these markets, but should have experience in one or more)
• PE is a plus but not required, EIT is REQUIRED
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual and MS Office software

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Electrical design of power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Complete construction drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during construction
• Meet with clients
• Manage projects
• Communicate and coordinate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, and other consultants throughout the design phases of the building project
