Responsibilities

  • Looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial Painting division, based in Scarborough, Maine. This role requires regular travel to project sites.

  • Ensure and enforce that every employee is wearing their personal protective equipment as required by company policies and by OSHA.

  • Promote a safety-first attitude among all employees

  • Schedule several activities and attend meetings, and/or events.

  • Flexibility to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances

  • Problem-solving, analyzing issues, and creating and executing action plans necessary to successfully complete work safely, on time, and on budget.

  • Plan, layout, assign, and direct the work of others

  • Communicate effectively with superiors and subordinates to understand and execute oral and written instructions and to interpret plans and specifications.

  • Make estimates for materials and time required to do change order work and timely procurement of extra work documentation

  • Advisory and leadership practices and principles necessary to safely and successfully complete projects on time and on budget.

  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating with team members or subcontractors to achieve seamless project execution.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and clients is a key part of the role, with the goal of fostering long-term partnerships and securing future opportunities.

  • Work Location: On the road

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Construction Project Management experience.

  • Valid Maine Driver's License

  • OSHA 10 & 30 experience

  • Effective communication, able to meet deadlines and schedules

  • Computer skills and ability to document plans, specifications, addendums, SK's and ASI.

  • Ability to determine the exact scope of work or changes to that scope.

  • Experience making estimates for materials and time

  • Customer service experience: Must be excellent working with clients, employees and vendors

  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities/environments.

  • Experience Communicating with diverse groups of people.

  • Ability to commute to Scarborough Maine, on Monday through Friday.

  • Ability to be on call on Saturdays when needed.

  • Experienced in running multiple construction projects, painting experience preferred and very organized
