As a Water & Wastewater Project Manager in Anchorage, Alaska you will work with a core group of engineers and designers on studies, designs, and field assignments for clients across Alaska. Your work will focus on water and wastewater treatment systems but may include work on storage, conveyance, and distribution system projects. You will work collaboratively with our team to complete the following:
Leading all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning
Assist with business development, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts to grow our business
Establish and maintain strong client relationships by communicating with clients on technical design topics and project schedule/budget/scope to develop long term strategy for continued market success
Deliver projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning.
Managing and/or leading projects in accordance with the contract requirements and Jacobs' business processes, driving profitability and building new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for leading project teams and communicating between diverse design disciplines for the delivery of designs and related studies

Here's what you'll need
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical preferred)
Minimum 10 years in the industry with directly applicable project management experience
Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects
Demonstrated aptitude, ability, and capacity to build and support a team
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to help develop other front-line leaders as part of succession planning
Ideally, here's what you'll also have:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or demonstrated commensurate project management experience and skills
A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients
