Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Estimator to join our team. The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for estimating labor and material costs for roofing projects based on detailed drawings, site visits, and customer specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of different roofing systems, materials, and cost factors.

Responsibilities

• Estimate labor and material costs for roofing projects.
• Conduct detailed site visits and analyze customer specifications.
• Utilize estimating software such as View 360 or Edge to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure accurate pricing and bidding.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical documents to develop project estimates.

• 7 years of experience in commercial estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software, including View 360 or Edge.
• Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems and materials.
• Experience in bidding and pricing for construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

• Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This position requires onsite work. The company offers a small company feel with the opportunity to work with repeat contractors in the DC market. The estimator will be based locally in Fredericksburg.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
