Traveling Superintendent

Job Description

This position will be supporting a 2-year multi-family project in Philadelphia, PA. Interested candidates will need to travel to Columbus, OH to work and train with the company prior to starting on the project in Philadelphia in the fall.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project performance
  • Ensure project clarity regarding scope, budget, schedule
  • Ensure quality
  • Ensure communication & documentation
  • Pre-Construction - Attends project Handoff Meeting with Estimator, project super and Project Executive (see checklist)
  • Responsible for coordinating submittal approvals with Project Coordinator & Client
  • Scope Change: Works with construction team to understand cost and schedule implications
  • Scheduling
  • Post-Construction
  • Participate in post project review
  • Available for any project specific questions that may arise after construction
    1. Works with Warranty Team to resolve any project issues

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (or related field) desired but not required
    • 4+ years of commercial construction experience as a Project Manager
    • Experience in ground up multi-family construction is preferred. Will consider high rise, Sr. Living, Hotel project experience

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
