Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bloomington, MN for an Engineering Technician.
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the assembly of first commercial pilot.
You will work closely with the Head of Engineering and Lab Director to deploy technology on the farm.
This will involve identification and documentation of the assembly process, equipment design, system fabrication, and installation.
You'll be expected to maintain and improve the system on the installation site.
You'll also assist with running experiments in our laboratory to help drive future engineering decisions.
You will have the opportunity to define this role as your skillset grows.
This is a hands-on role and you can expect to spend half your time working physically.
Qualifications
Relevant mechanical and technical education, applicable engineering degree is preferred
Experience in an engineering role preferred
Strong Analytical Skills and ability to troubleshoot
Proficiency with CAD
You've physically built something before (does not have to be in professional setting)

Mechanically inclined
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting
You will have prior experience making something from scratch.
You will have hands-on shop experience and the ability to work independently on new projects.
