Ops Designer/Drafter - 2 years (fixed - term)

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Create and modify detailed technical drawings and designs using SolidWorks and Enovia (preferred)
• Develop 2D models of electrical cabinets, components, and assemblies adapted to the manufacturing processes
• Interpret 3D models and convert them into precise manufacturing specifications
• Ensure designs align with industry standards, processes, safety laws, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, production, process, and quality teams to optimize designs for manufacturability
• Build Bills of Materials (BOMs) and user documentation for production
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in design and drafting processes
• Assist in fixing design-related issues during production
• Maintain accurate design records and revision histories
• Know the latest drafting standards and industry trends
• Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

YOU HAVE:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field
• Experience in technical drafting/design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of industrial design principles and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
