Job Description
Location: Oxford, MS
Job Description Our client is seeking a project engineer for their geotechnical engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in Geotechnical Investigations and Phase I Environmental Assessments involving residential and commercial sites, institutional and education sites, roadways and bridges, and higher learning projects.Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence research for upcoming projects.
- Prepare engineering reports for geotechnical and environmental studies.
- Generate location plans, undercut plans, and segmental retaining wall plans.
- Perform engineering calculations for bearing capacity, slope stability, pile capacity, and retaining wall designs.
- Review submittals for active construction projects.
- Geotechnical analysis
- Geological Engineering
- 2+ years of site design consulting experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable violation history
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
