Site Safety Manager

Construction Safety Manager for a leading steel fabrication & construction services company near Louisville, KY. This role is reponsible for implementing a comprehensive, company-wide safety/risk management program.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health
  
  
• OR four (4) years of proven experience in leading a Safety and Risk Management program in lieu of degree
  
  
• Experience within Construction, fabrication, or manufacturing industry
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

• Experience with Mobile Equipment such as Forklift, Crane, Aerial Lifts
  
  
• OSHA 10, 30, or 500
  
  
• Understanding of Steel Fabrication

responsibilities:

• Maintaining and implementing a comprehensive, company-wide safety/risk management program
  
  
• Responsible for reducing and eliminating occupational injuries through accident prevention and loss control policies and procedures
  
  
• Required to Travel to Job Sites for Safety Inspections
  
  
• Remains Current on Regulatory Issues including OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA and other Government Agencies
  
  
• Completes Site Inspections, Hazard Assessment and Abatement, Accident Investigation, Training, and Claims Management
  
  
• Prepare and Maintain Training Documents for Field Workers
