Electrical Apprentice

Summary: Seeking an Apprentice Electrician to assist with electrical installations and system preparations under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician.

• Requirements:

  • Must pass a 12-panel drug test and background check
  • OSHA-10 certification required
  • Willingness to travel extensively (60%)

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multimeters, hand tools, power tools, and machinery

• Responsibilities:

  • Work from diagrams and schematics to wire instruments for automation systems
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
  • Pull wiring through conduit and label appropriately; connect wiring to controllers and instruments
  • Test continuity of circuits using testing instruments for electrical compatibility and safety
  • Mount instruments and PLCs in panels using various hand tools
  • Observe installed equipment for hazards or need for adjustments; assist in troubleshooting and repairing wiring connections

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
