Job Description
Architectural Sheet Metal Shop Fabricator (7:00am - 3:30pm)
Skyline Sheet Metal, Inc. is looking for motivated individuals seeking to begin a career in the sheet metal construction field. Experience is preferred however we are willing to train the right candidate.
Skyline Sheet Metal, located in Troutdale, Oregon, is offering career opportunities to qualified candidates to fill positions of all levels. Skyline Sheet Metal offers competitive wages and compensation package to qualified individuals. Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, steel and aluminum fabrication is helpful; however, experience is not required for entry level positions. Shop Fabricators must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidates who are willing to
learn and enjoy challenges as well as learning new skills are encouraged to apply.
The following are some of the requirements for all shop positions:
Have reliable transportation
Be punctual
Follow instruction and work in a team environment
Read a tape measure
Lift and carry heavy objects.
Problem solve
Learn how to operate hand tools, power tools and equipment in a safe manner
Some of the daily tasks of a shop fabricator are:
Operating press break
Operation of sheet metal shear
Layout, notching and cutting of sheet metal components
Forklift driving
Loading trucks
Benefits and Compensation:
Wage based on experience
