Fabricator

24 Seven is partnering with a well-known, digital print agency in Portland, OR to help them find a Fabricator to join their team in this onsite opportunity. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits!

Ideal candidate: will have 3+ years of hands-on woodworking and fabrication experience, preferably in retail or exhibit settings, with proven expertise in wood joinery, cabinetry, and fixture assembly. They excel at reading shop drawings and technical specifications and bring strong skills in laminate application, finishing, and edge detailing.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Fabricate custom 3D wood-based retail fixtures and displays using blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD references.

• Operate woodworking machinery and power toolssuch as table saws and routerssafely and efficiently.

• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish various materials including MDF, plywood, solid wood, and composite panels.

• Apply laminates, veneers, and surface finishes to deliver a polished, high-end appearance.

• Partner with design, print, and graphics teams to incorporate printed graphics, lighting, hardware, and 3D components.

• Perform detailed quality inspections to verify precision in measurements, construction fit, and surface finish.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of woodworking and fabrication experience, ideally in a retail or exhibit environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and technical specs.
• Strong skills in wood joinery, cabinetry, and fixture assembly.
• Experience with laminate application, finishing, and edge detailing.
• Ability to lift and or move 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate hand/power tools safely.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience building displays for athletic or lifestyle retail brands.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or LED lighting integration.
• Comfortable working with mixed media (metal, acrylic, vinyl, etc.).
