Job Description

Seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in various projects. This role involves analyzing data and providing recommendations for construction projects during the pre-construction phase of the project. The Geotechnical Engineer will work collaboratively with other engineers, estimators, and project managers to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for geotechnical issues related to construction projects.
• Assist in the pre-construction process by collaborating with estimators
• Participate in bid review meetings
• Perform construction estimates and takeoffs to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, minimum of 5 years' experience in a geotechnical background.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Mathcad, Bluebeam, and other relevant software tools.
• Deep understanding of geotechnical design principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
