Heavy Equipment MechanicRequirements:-High school diploma or GED.-Proven heavy equipment operation & maintenance experience-Excellent problem-solving skills.-Exceptional customer service skills.-Effective communication skills.Duties and Responsibilities:-Inspect, test, and diagnose heavy construction equipment for faulty operations and parts-Perform regular equipment safety and maintenance inspections-Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other components of heavy machinery-Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components-Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, such as checking fluid levels or testing parts-Interpret technical manuals, diagnostic charts, and schematics to repair equipment-Order parts necessary for equipment repair and maintenance-Communicate with equipment operators to understand equipment problems and plan necessary repairs-Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance-Keep detailed records of serviced machines to maintain a history of repairs for each piece of equipmentSalary: $25.00/hour - $30.00/hour, depending on experience. ***This is a full-time, year around career opportunity!Apply in person at: D&H Excavating 11939 Route 98 South Arcade, NY
