Position Overview
As an Industrial Painter, you'll play a key role in the fabrication process, applying two-part Poly and Powder Coat finishes to forklift frames and components. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, durability, and quality of our lift trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain correct color standards on all units per specification
Prepare parts by cleaning, sanding, and/or sandblasting surfaces before painting
Apply primer and finish coats using spray equipment
Load and unload materials onto the paint conveyor line
Perform general housekeeping duties in painting and prep areas
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment
Adhere to all safety procedures and proper use of PPE
Support company policies including safety, quality, and attendance
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 6 months of experience in primer and/or automotive finish paint application
Vocational training or post-secondary certification in auto body repair or painting preferred
Experience using air tools, hand tools, and overhead cranes
Basic math skills and ability to follow production procedures
Able to bend, twist, lift, kneel, squat, and perform physically demanding tasks
Understanding of PPE use and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
