Overview:
A well-established and growing commercial construction firm in the Fort Worth area is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations on high-profile commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in complex ground-up and renovation builds, a commitment to quality, and a passion for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and coordination for field operations across multiple commercial construction sites.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Enforce and uphold company safety standards and jobsite protocols.

  • Manage and mentor field staff and trade partners to maintain quality workmanship and productivity.

  • Participate in pre-construction planning, logistics, scheduling, and execution.

  • Conduct daily and weekly site inspections, progress reviews, and reports.

  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent or senior field leadership role.

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in the K-12 or municipal sector.

  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale commercial projects including schools, healthcare, municipal buildings, or mixed-use developments.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with construction technology and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).

  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
