Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

As a Mechanical Drafter, you will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements and matching products to customer specifications using AutoCAD and 3D Modeling Software. You will also gather required data from engineers and customers to assist in quote preparation and maintain various quote databases and project plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and layout of HVAC ducting systems.
  • Review drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Establish rapport and build relationships with outside sales reps, consulting engineers, and mechanical contractors.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all product lines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quotes Department.

Essential Skills

  • Associates degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in quoting, drafting, and mechanical design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and CAD software.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite work, collaborating closely with engineering and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of designs and quotations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
