Job description

Boutique residential Architecture and Interior Design firm seeks a motivated Designer and auto-cad draftsperson for high-end custom residential projects in both architecture and interior design capacities.

Creation of schematic design documents

Integration of schematic designs into design development documents

Creation of 3-d modeling using sketch up

Creation of full construction drawings

Coordinating work with consulting engineers

Interacting with appropriate government permitting agencies

Assisting in construction observation work at construction sites

Bachelor degree in Architecture preferred, but not required. Minimum 5 years professional experience necessary.

Prior office experience and a thorough and efficient knowledge of residential construction and auto-cad are essential (5 years plus). Samples of private residential construction documents you have previously completed will be required at interview. Abilities may be tested.

Beginning salary dependent on abilities and prior experience conveyed, with regular increases and benefits as ability and willingness for added responsibility is shown and a full understanding of any additional talents and abilities is gained.
