Advanced Agrilytics is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive licensing and partnership growth for our rapidly expanding agronomy software platform. This role is instrumental in extending our market reach by engaging independent agronomists, ag retailers, and service providers who support major row crop markets across the Midwest and Southern U.S.A The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for achieving defined annual licensing revenue goals, maintaining consistent pipeline health, and contributing to overall business growth.A Advanced Agrilytics is an agronomy services company dedicated to unlocking the potential of every acre. Through direct-to-farm agronomic guidance, unbiased spatial research, and sub-acre environmental understanding, we deliver on the promise of precision agriculture. How You Will Help Us Grow:Identify, develop, and close new licensing agreements with agronomic service providers, ag retail networks, and consultative agronomistsA Build and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with defined revenue targets and market expansion goalsA Cultivate deep relationships within the agriculture industry demonstrating a clear understanding of regional market dynamics and customer needsA Effectively articulate the value proposition and technical benefits of Advanced Agrilytics' software platform to diverse stakeholder groupsA Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with product innovation, customer success, and strategic growth initiativesA Engage with agronomic professionals working across key U.S. row crops, including corn, soybeans, cotton, and wheatA Focus geographically on key agricultural regions in the Midwest and Southern U.S. to support local market penetration and customer onboarding Experience You Bring:Minimum of 10 years of experience in ag tech sales, agronomic services, or ag retail business developmentProven track record of exceeding sales quotas and securing long-term customer agreementsDeep knowledge of commercial farming operations and agronomic practices for corn, soybeans, cotton, and wheatExceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsA Self-driven and entrepreneurial, capable of managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution and maintaining customer retentionA Skilled at positioning agronomic software solutions to both technical and commercial stakeholdersAdept at navigating long sales cycles and building trusted, consultative relationshipsAbility to work independently while aligning closely with internal sales, product, and leadership teamsProficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to manage customer interactions, track sales pipelines, and maintain accurate client records for improved relationship management and business efficiencyWillingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including regional travel for in-person customer engagements, industry events, and partner meetingsMust reside in the U.S., and live in the applicable regional territory What Our Culture Brings:Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) plan with company matchA Flexible Time OffA Professional growthCollaborative, autonomous work culture where every person makes a difference!
