Skilled Laborer / Heavy Machinery Operator Location: Northfield, MN Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: Based on experience Job Summary: We are hiring a Skilled Laborer / Heavy Machinery Operator to join our team in delivering high-end landscaping, irrigation, and hardscape services. This hands-on role includes operating equipment such as Bobcats, skid steers, mowers, and diggers , while performing physical labor to help build backyard kitchens, dig for pools, and maintain upscale residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in outdoor construction and machinery operation who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy machinery (e.g., Bobcat, skid steer, mower, digger ) for landscape, irrigation, and hardscape projects Assist with backyard kitchen builds, pool digs, retaining walls, patios , and other custom outdoor features Work on high-end residential properties with a focus on quality and detail Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling materials Follow safety protocols on job sites and maintain equipment as needed Collaborate with crew members to meet project timelines and standards Requirements: Experience operating heavy equipment in landscaping, construction, or similar fields Comfortable performing physically demanding work (stand, bend, walk, push/pull up to 75 lbs) Familiar with general landscaping, hardscaping, and/or irrigation systems Reliable, hardworking, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions Must have transportation to and from job sites CDL A drivers are subject to background and drug tests - no testing required for non-CDL roles Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on high-end residential properties Ability to read project plans or layouts Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, full-time work with opportunities for growth Work with a skilled, supportive team Projects that showcase your skill and craftsmanship
