Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Construction Plumbing Journeyman!

Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical trades and has proudly been in business for over 35 years! Integrity, technical expertise, and high-quality service are the guiding principles of the Vander Hyde team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install plumbing systems in new construction projects and during renovations.
• Possess a solid understanding of blueprints.
• Lead a team of apprentices effectively.
• Self-manage and troubleshoot issues on the job site.
• Identify and maintain work materials appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Promote and follow safe work practices at all times.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Michigan Journeyman Plumbers License.
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
• Have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Required to have personal hand tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts)

Pay Range: $25-$40/ per hour, based on experience.
