Builtech is currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team.

Responsibilities:

• Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunity.
• Analyze drawings and specifications.
• Understand contractual terms and conditions.
• Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents for the estimate.
• Lead and manage multiple bid teams/ proposals at a time.
• Work with Project and Marketing staff coordinating contributions from all into proposals.
• Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals.
• Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents.
• Ensure Builtech's compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project.
• Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to existing or new clients.
• Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Work on multiple bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives.
• Identify & execute strategic opportunities to optimize Builtech's position in securing work.

Salary: $120,000-150,000++

Position Requirements

• Requirements:

• Ideally 6-10 years of construction experience
• Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (SmartBid, Gradebeam, Building Connected)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Exchange; Procore is a plus
• Able to manage multiple projects/activities at once
• A bachelors degree, preferably in construction management, engineering or a related field
• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience is accepted
• Valid Drivers License
