What You’ll Do:

• Lead Major Projects : Design and manage high-profile transportation projects , including roadway design, construction, and delivery for SCDOT and other major clients
• Strategic Oversight : Serve as the lead point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Team Leadership/Mentorship : Guide and mentor a growing team of engineers and designers, ensuring effective communication and strong project execution
• Participate in Business Development efforts : Contribute to proposal preparation, client relationship management, and project acquisition efforts to secure future work

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering with a strong background in Roadway design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina
• Extensive experience managing roadway/highway projects from design through construction
• Proven expertise working with SCDOT standards
• Strong leadership and client management skills
• Business development skills strongly preferred, but not required
• Ability to navigate complex projects while maintaining focus on quality, budget, and schedule
• Excellent communication and strategic decision-making abilities
