Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor that will oversee the Equipment Facility support team to ensure efficient operations and maintenance of Mortenson's equipment, tools, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and assure that equipment is available as required
  • Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned equipment (Ready to Rent, Needs Inspection, Down)
  • Organization of the Equipment Facility including warehouse and yard space
  • Evaluates all equipment after repairs, maintenance, or safety checks
  • Update, maintain, and keep organized equipment service records
  • Create, update, close and bill work orders
  • Commission New Equipment
  • Maintain accurate on hand inventories
  • Responsible for meeting shipping deadlines
  • Responsible for tracking Team Member certifications (i.e. forklift, rigging, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or technical degree or a minimum of two years experience with equipment and/or logistics or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of rental or Inventory tracking software packages
  • Proven solid communication skills
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work with others
  • Demonstrated ability to work with equipment/logistic suppliers
  • Proven negotiating skills
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Safe working habits
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role is $68,200 - $107,700. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR 10%, Washington, D.C. 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortensons incentive plan.
