Carpenter at Wild Branch Builders

Wild Branch Builders is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our crew. Wild Branch specializes in high end residential renovations, additions and new construction. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of residential construction, and most aspects of building from initial framing to complete interior and exterior finish phase, as well as a willingness to learn and bring their own knowledge and insight to unique projects.

Experienced Carpenter

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of residential carpentry, and be motivated to learn and progress their craft. We are looking for someone who can perform most aspects of residential construction and is looking to learn and grow into a lead carpenter role.

Qualifications

A experienced Carpenter should have at least two years of carpentry experience and have an understanding of rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and the ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion. The position requires the ability and willingness to work in a team and a willingness to interact with other employees. Strong communication skills are essential as well as the ability to take direction and execute tasks in a timely manner. All candidates must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks with an attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the Project Manager, and other crew members
Assembling wall and roof systems
Assembling window packages, and window installation
Be able to perform basic trim tasks, i.e baseboard and casing
Always act in a manner as to represent the principles of Wild Branch Builders.
Maintain a good attitude even through adversity

Official workday is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Physical Demands

Employees may be required to stand or walk over 75% of the time. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required. Lifting up to 65 lbs. Must meet vision requirements to obtain a drivers license.
