- Manage electrical design projects with minimal guidance, overseeing schedule, budget, and task breakdowns.
- Responsible for design efforts including engine wiring harness, control systems, interconnecting wiring diagrams, and data acquisition systems.
- Create high-level and low-level detailed wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Facilitate design reviews internally and support project reviews externally with project management members and customers.
- Work with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software engineers in a cross-functional environment.
- Create designs and drawings that comply with industry standards.
- Provide feedback to engineering management on work progress and status.
- Collaborate with a team of electrical engineers, designers, drafters, and management to produce project deliverables.
- Collect and interpret information from various design inputs including previous designs, customer specifications, sketches, and documentation.
- Acquire ongoing knowledge to perform job assignments and improve technology, products, and processes.
- Use knowledge of electrical design concepts to support customers with troubleshooting instructions.
- Actively participate in a continuous improvement culture, providing recommendations and implementing enhancements.
- Proficiency in electrical design and engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Expertise in wire harness design and junction boxes.
- AAS Degree with 4+ years of experience or BSEE with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in data acquisition and control systems.
- Proficiency in power distribution systems and building electrical ducting services.
- CE and ATEX regulatory experience preferred.
- Experience in designing electrical systems using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent.
- Related industry experience required based on the Electrical Engineering level.
