Job Description:

**Duration: 12 months** **Description:** + One of the world's leading defense contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their Combat Mission Systems business. **Responsibilities:** + The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment. + In this role, the Electrical Engineer: researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components. + Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures. + Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services + The qualified candidate will work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. + The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application. **Experience Required** + Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis + Experience developing technical documentation - such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis **Experience Preferred** + Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems. + Experience with integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays and development of electronic control logic. + Experience with developing and integrating power generation, conversion and storage solutions. + Experience in the development and integration of ammunition handling/loading systems including autoloaders and large caliber rammer systems. **Skills Required** + Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge + Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings. + Ability to create and manage interface control documents. + Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice) + Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers. **Skills Preferred** + Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards + Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW + Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g. C, C#, LabWindows/CVI + Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio, circuit board schematic & layout tools + Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environmentSystems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge. + Knowledge of rechargeable batteries and battery management systems. **Education Required** + Typically requires 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 2+ years with a Master's degree **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
