Mechanical Design Engineer

International Manufacturer of Packing and Palletizing solutions is in search of an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer within the Chicago, NJ or PA area. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering that have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience within an industrial automation sector. This working experience includes Mechanical Design 2D and 3D software (Inventor, Autocad, Vault). Experience with ERP software such as SAP is valuable.

Candidates who are FLUENT in Spanish are highly encouraged to apply. This position allows you to work remotely but will require you to travel throughout the Us, Canada and travel to Spain. Company pays for all travel expenses (hotel, food, transportation). This is an opportunity to train at the company headquarters in Spain. responsibilities:
- Design and development of the packaging and palletizing solutions and generation of mechanical layouts according to the project specifications

- Generation of manufacturing and assemblies layout, using 2D and 3D CAD design software.

- Realization and monitoring of prototype solutions

- Designs debugging and continuous improvement tasks related to mechanical designs and solutions

- Monitoring and supervision of projects installation on customers facilities and/or company headquarters

- Works remotely related to uploading of new Projects, follow up of ongoing projects, support local service jobs and tasks
