A local reputable General Contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a background in large, diverse commericial projects. This individual will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution of $40M+ projects, project controls, cost, and business management of multiple projects. Our ideal candidate would be a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally represent us as the primary interface with the Owner and the Design Team.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team during the bidding and preconstruction phases of projects.
  • Management of all project team members, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents, and interns.
  • Mentor, develop, train team members for growth.
  • Accountable for project completion and financial success.
  • Research and recommend a resolution for document interpretation issues, potential conflicts, and errors

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS OF SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

  • A four-year degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Management for Commercial Construction projects between $20 Million and $80 Million in value.
  • The ability to manage and mentor three to five Project Managers or Project Engineers that oversee the daily operations of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of complex building systems.
  • Proven success with shepherding design-build projects from the RFQ process through final closeout documents.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions, preferably Procore.
  • Experience using Project Scheduling Software.
  • Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.
