Watt's Next? Master Electrician Wanted for High-Voltage Career Opportunity!

Advantage Technical is hiring a highly skilled Industrial Plant Electrician to support a world-renowned medical technology company based in the Milton, MA area. Hours & Pay:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with an on-call rotation every 3-4 weeks (after 6 PM)
Compensation: $55-$60 per hour, based on experience
On-Call Pay: Additional $20/day during on-call weeks
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire for the right candidate
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement facility upgrades, renovations, and energy efficiency initiatives
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including 1.5 MW supply sites, generators, fire pumps, and substations
- Lead and manage electrical projects from planning to execution
- Monitor a 1.3 MW rooftop solar energy system in collaboration with vendors
- Serve as the point of contact for vendor coordination and equipment troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, electrical schematics, and power sub-metering data
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to urgent issues after hours
- Ensure full compliance with state and local electrical codes

Qualifications:
- Valid Master Electrician License with 5+ years of hands-on experience
- Expertise in high and low voltage systems, down to 24 volts
- Proven experience with commercial generators and backup power systems
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics
- Background in facilities maintenance or industrial plant operations
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as ServiceZone, Maximo, or BlueMountain
- Strong vendor management and troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of fire protection systems, building automation, and lighting control technologies like Schneider, Wattstopper, and Synapse
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus
