Production Operator Job Description Join our team as a Production Operator where you will be responsible for the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products in our state-of-the-art facility. You will handle raw materials, operate and troubleshoot machines, and ensure quality control throughout production. This role involves material handling, machine operation, and quality assurance in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. Responsibilities Prepare raw materials for production. Feed raw wire into the production line as required. Interpret specification sheets to set machines accordingly. Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues. Monitor production quality using the HMI touchscreen. Take enamel samples and document in-process updates manually. Use an overhead crane to move finished spools of wire. Operate a forklift for warehousing finished products. Essential SkilOur Client Ability to work safely without constant supervision. Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Availability to work 12-hour shifts. Openness to forklift training. Strong tenure at previous employers. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English work orders. Additional SkilOur Client & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Work Environment Work in the advanced 700 building, a temperature-controlled facility resembling a clean room. You'll operate on a 2/2/3 schedule with shifts from 8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
