(CEC), you'll work alongside collaborative team members, dedicated mentors, and experienced managers that are committed to supporting your career growth and success.Responsibilities:Perform engineering design, analysis, task management, and project management duties on all types of transportation projects for a broad range of commercial, industrial, and government clients.Geometric studies, report writing, preliminary and final engineering, plan production, drainage design, construction staging, design and quantity calculations, cost estimates, and other related efforts.Manage highway and local roadway engineering projects to provide quality delivery of project submittal;Manage project contracts and financials, be involved with business development and marketing efforts including identifying potential opportunities and supporting proposal and interview efforts;Mentor junior-level staffMonitor workload needs throughout the entire project development.Our team enjoys a work/life balance with our flexible and hybrid schedule options. We are growing and look forward to partnering with you!CEC is ranked #1 in West Virginia and #24 overall on the 2024 ENR Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms List.QualificationsBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering required;8+ years of relevant experience required;4+ years of task lead and/or project management experience preferred;P.E. license required;DOT experience required, WVDOH experience is a plus;Intermediate to advanced knowledge of roadway design software such as Bentley Microstation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred;Diverse experience in roadway geometric design, pavement design, construction document preparation, and right-of-way Plan preparation;Experience in proposal preparation and engineering fee estimating;Experience in grading and drainage, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, erosion and sediment pollution control, and utilities preferred.About UsWe have experts!
