(CEC), you'll be responsible for:Performing engineering design, analysis, task management, and project management duties on all types of transportation projects for a broad range of commercial, industrial, and government clients.Geometric studies, report writing, preliminary and final engineering, plan production, drainage design, construction staging, design and quantity calculations, cost estimates, and other related efforts.Managing highway and local roadway engineering projects to provide quality delivery of project submittals;Managing project contracts and financials, be involved with business development and marketing efforts including identifying potential opportunities and supporting proposal and interview efforts;Mentoring junior-level staffMonitoring workload needs throughout the entire project development.With 34 offices, and over 1,500 employees, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside collaborative team members, dedicated mentors, and experienced managers that are committed to supporting your career's success.Our team enjoys a work/life balance with our flexible and hybrid schedule options. In addition to being an employee-owned company and our competitive benefits; our compensation package provides multiple streams of income that support long term financial success such as paid OT, bonuses, annual performance reviews, innovation awards, and our stock program that is available to all employees.QualificationsBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering required;8+ years of relevant experience required;4+ years of task lead and/or project management experience preferred;P.E. license required;DOT experience required, WVDOH experience is a plus;Intermediate to advanced knowledge of roadway design software such as Bentley Microstation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred;Diverse experience in roadway geometric design, pavement design, construction document preparation, and right-of-way Plan preparation;Experience in proposal preparation and engineering fee estimating;Experience in grading and drainage, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, erosion and sediment pollution control, and utilities preferred.About UsCEC Bridgeport is part of our West Virginia operations, which also includes offices in Martinsburg and Charleston.
