Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of ground improvement, foundation, and shoring projects with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery .
• Review and interpret geotechnical reports focusing on bearing capacities, settlement tolerances, and groundwater control for deep foundations.
• Coordinate pile load tests, PDA testing, CPT, and static load tests, ensuring compliance with design criteria.
• Oversee installation and inspection of piling, stone columns or caisson works, verifying embedment depths, material quality, and installation tolerances.
• Liaise with geotechnical consultants on issues like unexpected soil layers, obstructions, or ground settlement exceeding allowable limits.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to align schedules and meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior staff and perform field assignments as required.
• Uphold and promote Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering .
• Registered or eligible for registration with APEGBC or ASTTBC .
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Expertise in ground improvement techniques , foundations, earth retaining structures, and driven piles.
• Strong background in contract management, scheduling, and financial oversight .
• Familiarity with government approvals and trade standards .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.

Salary: $110 - $140k per annum
