Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for commercial construction projects in the Madison area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial and/or industrial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction crews.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage on-site resources, including equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and building codes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
