Job Type: Full-time-Hourly
Are you a well rounded carpenter with 3 to 5 years of experience and looking for a career where you can learn and grow into the best carpenter you can be. A place with advancement and growth opportunities? Someone with a minimum of three years experience in any of the following areas: framing, millwork, demo, cabinet installation. We aren't in need of a lead carpenter or an apprentice. We are looking for some experience with good work history.
You must have your own tools and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and be willing to learn. To be considered, you must have some experience in remodeling, vs. new construction. We work directly with homes built prior to 1960. We build additions, dormers, kitchen, baths, decks, porches, basements, and whole house remodeling. We do it all, from framing to trim work. We have a highly skilled team of carpenters and tradesmen, so you will learn from the best.
***MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK AND HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
Responsibilities
Show up on time, punctuality is important.
Tear out and demo.
Installation of doors, base trim, casing, crown molding and railings.
Worksite cleanup and removal of debris.
Learn to interpret accurately plans and scope of work.
Outstanding communication with co-workers and clients.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with a willingness to learn.
Willing and able to carry 50lbs.
