The Facilities Project manager will develop efficient, timely, cost-effective facility-wide solutions by providing guidance/expertise during the programming/planning process and successfully managing vendors, suppliers and contractors through the execution/delivery phases of a project. The position will participate in the capital planning/budgeting process and manage day-to-day activities of the facilities department.
What You Will Do at Graco
- Direct programming, design, construction, occupancy and close-out phases of facility wide projects
- Develop and implement corporate standards for furniture system design and installation, while negotiating costs and managing budgets
- Provide space planning services & recommendations for the best utilization of space for all Graco facilities and supervise renovation projects while monitoring risks & managing timelines
- Track and manage space allocation/usage for all US Graco facilities
- Organize and file all building/facilities records to include construction drawings, operations manuals, documentation files, closeout documentation and facility data.
- Provide support services to Facilities Manager for special projects/presentations, assisting with contract negotiation, vendor selection & invoicing, administrative functions and other duties as assigned
- Partner with local jurisdiction to obtain building permits and approvals
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications & Marketing teams to design & install facility branded material and artwork
- Oversee and propose corporate improvement and investments options to Graco leadership that ensure feasibility and efficiency
- Assign appropriate work to Facilities team and contractors, including work orders, daily facility maintenance, contracts and invoice approvals
- Travel as needed to US Graco sites for field verifications and project management
What You Will Bring to Graco
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical related field i.e. Architecture, Construction, or Interior Design from an accredited college or university.
- 3+ years experience in Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction, or Interior Design to include facility planning, design, construction documentation.
- Experience in the preparation and interpretation of construction documents.
- Understanding of regulatory codes and requirements for the building industry.
- Experience using of CAD programs or similar drawing tools
- Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Capability to manage multiple large-scale projects at once
- Ability to make decisions based on experience, data and standards

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
