Production Molding Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead a team who are engaged in the manufacturing of rubber and epoxy molded components used in various electrification products that support critical infrastructure. Each day, you will foster a safe, quality-minded work culture through coaching, mentoring and accountability. The work model for the role is: OnsiteThis role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products division at the Hackettstown, NJ manufacturing facility. You will be mainly accountable for: Assigning daily work activities for up to 55 employees.Guaranteeing consistent treatment of all employees under your supervision. Collaborating with your peers in all departments to achieve EHS, Quality and Service goals. Analyzing daily productivity to develop and execute corrective action plansEnsuring that all employees comply with policies and regulations according to safety, ISO, OSHA and any applicable Company policies and procedures. Our team dynamics: You will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to have an impact on the plants performance.

Qualifications for the role

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years supervisory experience OR an Associates Degree with 3 years of supervisory experience OR a Bachelors Degree with 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated coaching, mentoring and accountability experience.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work 3rd Shift.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
