Horizontal Directional Drill Foreman (HDD)
We're hiring an HDD Foreman in Henderson, CO. The HDD Foreman is a field management role, responsible for organizing and supervising the safe daily operations of construction projects. The Foreman will manage and coordinate the activities of the crew, providing guidance and resolving any operational issues. The HDD Foreman also will ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintain equipment, and keep detailed records of activities and progress.

Essential Duties:
- Provide guidance and coordinate the activities of an HDD construction crew.
- Supervise and monitor daily operations by planning and managing to job specifications
- Manage and develop effective customer and employee relations
- Analyze and resolve work challenges
- Plan and schedule operations to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Coach, train, and evaluate employees' and guide towards goal achievement
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew
- Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports and maintaining logs
- Review and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job specifications
- Oversee safety by modeling behaviors and providing corrective action when appropriate
- Secure work site to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials
- Pre-survey job location and ensure utility locates have been performed
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols on the job site
- Inspect equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance
- Assist crew as needed with locating utilities, operating equipment, and other tasks as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years horizontal directional drilling experience
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Computer Skills
- Flexibility to travel as needed
- The physical activity required for this role includes:
- Standing or walking for long periods with repeated lifting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
- Repeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.),
- Exposure to a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
